Opportunity for the position of Youth
Pastor Opportunity
The West Toronto Christian Community Church WTCCC is a church of the ACEM (Association of Chinese Evangelical Ministries) in the Mississauga/Oakville area. We have multi-generation and multi-ethnic congregations. We are seeking a fulltime Youth Director for our English-speaking constituents.
Duties
& Responsibilities
Pastor high school and university students in the English congregation and minister to their needs both from within and outside the church. His roles and responsibilities will include the followings:
- Planning and organizing youth activities
- Establish good relationship with our young people and their parents;
- Actively contribute to the spiritual and personal development of our young people;
- Motivate young people and grow them into leaders, and
- Develop and coordinate outreach programs to university campuses in the Mississauga/Oakville area.
Qualifications
- Born again, mature and stable Christian.
- Bachelor of Theology or equivalent.
- Have a heart for youth ministry and an understanding of young people’s special needs.
- Self-motivated, organized and posses good communication skills.
- Must be a good role model and have no criminal record of child abuse.
- Employable in Canada.
- Training in children and youth ministry would be an asset.
